Yea. To some refs if you hit the QB hard and it isn't a sack, it's roughing. There was literally nothing Wes could or should have done differently on that play.

Correct. He’s a 5th year senior. Year 1 was the free Covid year, 2020. Then he played a bunch for West Virginia in 2021, and this is his 3rd season here.
Kid is really, really good and dependable. Just an excellent college corner.

Our secondary has been the weakest unit so far this season. But, Porter does not get enough credit for being the one bright spot.

Porter may have gotten benched, but he doesn't really rank in the top 3 of easy targets for an OC to attack.

Kiko has never been able to cover. More concerning part is (well other than the coach wanting him to continue to cover) is that he can’t tackle RBs anymore either
