Daryl Porter, Jr. Is not hurt

@Memnon always liked him but I wasn’t sold . Last year he proved me wrong. Every time I watched film he was inside the wr’s jersey. He rarely busts a coverage and you rarely notice him. Which means he’s good. When everyone was worried about cb entering the year I kept saying we have one guy that’s proven to be trusted. He’s almost invisible here which is a positive and kinda sad. He’s a good player.

He’s one of the few guys whose practice performance doesn’t match his game performance. That’s why I rarely mention him in reports.

His instincts and IQ really stand out under the lights. Dependable and consistent gamer.

An “Alvin Harper” type. Love to see it. (90s Cowboys fans will understand the reference. Jimmy said he was a horrible practice player but when it was game time he showed out)

There are two positions you know are performing well if you never hear their name called: corner and OL.

I'd add refs in there, too, but that was definitely not the case yesterday.

Does anybody have any idea what the **** happened on that roughing the passer call?
Stevie Wonder GIF by John Legend

One of the worst roughing calls I've ever seen. I guess he hit him too hard in the chest.

I'm bias because his dad was locked in with my dad and uncle (rip to both)

But DPjr has been tight with Surtain Jr and working with him for years together and he has that nfl pedigree. Folks have thought he has had nfl level talent for atleast 2 years now so i know he was the goods. Your best frineds with an elite nfl player at your position ..techniques and other stuff will rub off, also having a dad that was a professional at your position as well only helps.

Was a really good portal pick up and development.

yea i was bias to the situation but i always was one of the ones saying he is the goods regardless of the size, etc or whatever everyone was complaining about at the time.

If u watch him play its like calmness to his game and not much panic he has a smooth veteran approach to the position.

lol where were ou last szn...this is his 2nd year starting nothing has changed.lol

Hes been dependable.

They play hi in the nickel now where i believe he will have an nfl career.
Never said he hasn’t been dependable. My opening statement was that he is getting “more and more dependable:”. You are arguing he has not improved since last year?
