Nice little vid. Seems like a humble dude. Now, when is he gonna commit? Cause I don't think McFarland is coming...

Miami needs to double down on MacFarland along with making Felix a priority for 2017.

On 247 today..... Miami not even in his top 3. GTFOOH

FELIX ON THE VERGE?

Running back Darrian Felix (Fort Myers, Fla.) said he could commit to Oregon when he officially visits October 7-9.

He said Oregon leads pretty big.

Felix is high on the Ducks’ no huddle, no mercy tempo offense, an attack where he could play back and slot.

I’ve logged a Crystal Ball pick in for Oregon as the Ducks now have 78-percent followed by 11-percent for Miami and 11-percent for Tennessee.

Felix said if he doesn’t publicly commit to his favorite he would like to officially visit his No. 2 school, Tennessee, and his No. 3 school, North Carolina, this fall as well before making a verbal commit.

Wow.... Oregon has higher priorities, he wont be a Duck..cant believe Miami not in his Top 3

IMO we seem to be all on the McFarland train. If we don't get him, maybe this staff is fine with taking just Burns. It's not like it looks like Yearby has any reason to leave early (especially in this RB class). We don't have that elite RB on the roster, but we are solid at the position.

Plus, we just got Choc for another year.

MacFarland supposedly just broke his ankle. This ain't looking good and I hope we have a place C.

Depends on the severity of the break. But a broken ankle doesn't necessarily mean that he's done or will never be the same player again. Staff at least has Burns in the fold and may be satisfied with 1 RB this cycle - a very rare cycle in which RBs were somewhat weak in South Florida.

Relax guys, just like other Republicans that quote fox news, atlantacane17 conveniently left out the other part of the story to drive his sensational news. Here is the rest of the story from 247.

Felix said he plans to attend a home game at Miami, a program he’s also been in touch with, this fall as he wants to see the Hurricanes improvements this season.

Felix (5-11, 194) clocked an electronic 4.48-second 40-yard dash and a vertical jump of 40+ inches this summer at The Opening.

The three-star recruit is ranked as the nation’s No. 7 all-purpose running back.

As a junior, Felix rushed 138 times for 1,029 yards with 17 touchdowns to go with 304 receiving yards and two scores.

He’s primed for an even bigger senior season, an effort that could solidify him as four-star material.

So basically he listed us in his top 4 with the order probably a fluid situation.

Obviously not a priority for the staff. There's a Felix type back in south Florida every year. Been saying this for far too long. McFarland or bust. Just take Burns if we have to.
