Usually a kid living in the moment and wanting what is in front of his face at the time, weak or poor advice coming from those around the kid and an irrational view of the kid's talent being so strong that it'll get him to the NFL and paid no matter what choices he makes now.

Add any current financial limitations the kid or his family might have and especially if the kid already has a kid then the bag game becomes pretty much impossible to compete with.

As you stated, all this can obviously dramatically mess with the kid's lifetime earning potential and is beyond shortsighted in many instances.

The NFL isn't a guarantee. Hard to turn down $100k when you come from nothing.

I get that but I think more of these kids/families think the NFL IS a guarantee so might as well take the biggest bag now and the kid's talent will override maybe not going to the absolute best place for him on-the-field wise.

*I know nothing of Washington's background or family and am speaking in bigger picture tones here just fueled by an elite TE recruit possibly picking UGA over a ton of other better TE schools.

The cash/bEnefits in hand at the moment.

they don’t realize that if they go to a school that will show their skills they will make multiple times what their current bag is.

it’s all about the here and now...fck the future.

He was sitting courtside at the Magic game last night with Zach Evans last night. Nothing to see here. They used their allowance money for those tickets.

Magic were at Milwaukee last nite.

UnderArmor game is in Orlando.

Not quite sure how/why Uga boosters would pay for him to travel to Milwaukee to go see an nba game. 🤔

Uga didn’t pay anything, look like under armour just had captains for that game out court side at the basketball game. Julian Fleming an osu commit was with them and under armour posted it on their social media.
