2. Dark New
3. Light New
4. Light Old

Why doesn't the theme lock in where I don't have to click it every time I come to the board? I shouldn't have to change the theme everytime I come back to the board.

Don't sleep on Dark New couple more tweaks and it could be

Your account should remember your preference.

Trying it now. Its not bad! I was worried it would be white text on black background - which actually hurts my eyes. But this is more of a dark gray. Not bad!

I think the best thing about the old ones is having your notification/messages separate and available on the home screen, without having to click your name to see them.

Yes, we did this a year ago and people complained. CIS users are behind the curve when it comes to adapting to technology changes. I would like to turn it on again once we get down to 1 dark and light style.
