Him being #1 and having a 1,000 yard rushing season. Speaking of the ambulance, WV fans tried to help us out bouncing a trash can off Randy Shannon's head, we just didn't know yet. Seriously, WV fans were always a little to intoxicated. Something!

I was at that game. At the time, they were allowed to bring beer into the stadium. They had guys coming in with cases of beer in each hand. That environment was brutal. I got hit in the back of the head with a frozen subway sandwich launched from behind me. But we won!

He was smooth very smooth RB always saw him as a version of Marcus Allen very deceptive speed only used it when needed.

He came out of Columbus, ND wanted him badly DF was the only RB they recruited, DF did truly bleed orange and green.

Obviously not many seen him play or remembered a true RB with very quiet feet tremendous eye hand coordination.

Great post for a great player

Holtz came to Columbus to take a look. He sat in Dennis Lavelle's office (HC @CCHS), and saw one play and immediately offered Ferguson a scholarship.

The play: first play of the CCHS v. Southridge game Ferguson housed it for 80 yards.

Special player indeed

You could also leave at halftime, drink more and come back into the stadium

Didn't we flip him from ND? I recall he was committed there and flipped to us.
