I think you are right in that Miami must play in the ACC Title game and get there undefeated....but I'll disagree with you in that I firmly believe a 12-1 Miami team that was just beat in the ACC Title game would still get in, especially with the potential Heisman winner.
If we lose the ACCCG to SMU we're absolutely not getting into the Playoffs.

I'm with you. We lose one like Bama did to Vandy, and we drop big time. It's why I am hoping everyone around us loses another game or two. A one loss Miami team will not get in over a 2 loss SEC team. For that reason, I hope they all somehow lose 3 games. Crazy to even think that, but it's the way it is.

We all knew the SEC, and ESPN, would try to get half the playoff field to be SEC teams. Just like they would try to get as many into the 4 team field as possible. It's ridiculous, and obvious.
Honest question...what team left on the schedule (including SMU or Clemson) has you worried about dropping a game?

He actually defended us in here. Went after pro sec bias for most part

He told no lies. I’ve been saying this all season long too on Facebook pages where $EC and B1G fans have been crying that Miami sucks, and that they shouldn’t even be in the Top 20. They constantly say that our Canes will get crushed by another team’s in the playoffs.

My answer to them has been, be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Josh Pate was insinuating last night that the SEC and Big Ten will end up getting more slots in the CFP because of their power and an implied or upfront threat to partner up and split from the NCAA in the rest of college football once the current contact is up.

The selection committee has said they will not penalize teams for playing in their conference championships. I believe you need to take them at their word for this.

We have a multi-hundred-page thread about this.

uga struggled with Kentucky and florida. Tenn struggled with florida.
Tennessee’s offense sucks. They’re QB is buns and has been exposed.

They’re fortunate to have a good defense, because without that they could easily have multiple losses this season.

Carson Beck is single handily destroying Jawja’s chances to be elite this season. I was never impressed with him. They’ve been hyping him up forever, and the dude is mid. Cam is 50 times the QB that he could ever hope to be, yet they’ve kept on hyping Beck up as the #1 overall pick in the draft for most of the season.

The reality is that he’s been booty juice most of this season, and has thrown 11 interceptions in the last 5 games. Shades of TVD.

No one, really. I do have concerns with the D going into a funk for a good quarter and a half every game. Someone like Syracuse, who I feel we should score 60+ on, can also score well. Not worried, though.

I've seen enough ACC officiating to know ANYTHING can happen in ACC play. We could get royally screwed, and the talking heads would only talk about how lucky Miami's luck ran out.

We simply can not leave any game in the hands of the officials, and that's hard when they are calling back TDs for bogus penalties, at crucial times in the game. See VT, for example.

i don't trust anyone in a pool with a shirt on.

Good point. What have we had three TDs called back on OPI? And if memory serves me, Duke scored on at least one against us with no flag in site.

I tune in to his cover 3 podcast. He’s really good. If you’re seeking to scratch some national recognition itch, give it a listen.

Yeah, he’s **** on bad Miami teams over the years, but it’s no different than what we’re doing with FSU right now. But as a whole, he respects the program.

nah I'm good, I rather get punched in the stomach

A lot of people dislike Danny but he’s actually harmless. He goes a little out of his way with his anti sec stuff but I find it funny. Sometimes he’s obviously has his tongue in his cheek with comments to rustle sec fans. He does make valid points at times too. Imo he’s a pretty smart football guy that’s humble. He sells himself short with his career. He flat out tells ya he didn’t take it serious and never watched film.

Funny enough the two noles are actually the best part of the show. The other 2 are such cane haters

Something must be in the water because even Rick Neuheisel is praising us now.

That's something I never I'd see/hear.
****. Might as well pack it in. That the death knell for our season

Danny is one of the greatest 3 sport athletes ever to come out of South Florida-

He went to Westminster Academy in Fort Lauderdale off of Federal Hwy -

Although he went to FSU he’s been pretty fair to us-

His dad was the team orthopedic doc for the Miami Dolphins for years-

Good people -Great family.

His daughters went to my kids’ school. And before his kids graduated a few years back, I ran into him a few times and he was always very sociable and willing to talk Canes/Noles and CFB in general. Chopped it up a few times at some of the kids’ school functions. Very very humble and unbiased guy.
