I was on the dan sileo show this morning because the dude was bashing miami for not getting more kids from in state. As a cane fan I would of loved more kids from the state of florida but I was not going to listen to him bash our coach. I refused to listen to him take the word of punks like uncle luke who stated golden was not recruiting florida. When I called I informed him miami had 6 commits from the state of florida who decommitted and went else where. The class would of looked certainly different if those kids kept their words and if the two kids from booker t were on board. The response he hung up on me. The bottom line is coach did a good job with the ncaa thing looming over us. For the south florida coaches who want more kids recruited by miami tell your prima donna kids that don't want to go there to notify the um staff so other kids could be recruited. Miami offered numerous south florida kids the day before signing once the picture became clear to them. those kids could of been offered much earlier if it was not how these kids and coaches conduct themselves.

dont listen to slieo...he got fired off Canes pre and post game coverage for a reason.

I listened only because I had WQAM on because I had listened to Joe Rose. After about 20 minutes, I hung up on him! That is what every UM fan should do! Just turn the show off!!! [If you want, you can also call a few of the sponsors and tell 'em what you did, as well.]

The dude ****es me off. I was mad as **** yesterday but not at our coach. I was mad at the ncaa because they will hammer us for small **** while the sec can do what ever they want. I am tired of teams like alabama. If these Miami kids would stay home we would rape college football. I just won't blame our coach for having to go out of state because he can't trust the florida coaches.
 
Our class was 75% from Florida last year.

We had a tough time with S Florida kids this year because of venom being spewed by Sileo and others.
 
Best interview I've heard in a VERYYYYYYY long time(Golden not included).. I hate Sileo and I love the Leader our Football troops #INGoldenItrust

-Doesn't believe in set %'s as far as roster makeup. You need to find the right young man for your program.
-People have come and copy what they've done in Dade for the past 20 years. Talent is more widespread now then it used to be. These athletes are everywhere now.
-Al Golden IS RECRUITING the inner city NOW! (Sileo is shut up)
-Sanctions are the #1 thing hurting recruiting now.
-Parents care and love what Al Golden is doing down here right now with his camps and access to the program.
-3 kids that didn't choose Miami would have chosen if not for the uncertainty surrounding sanctions.
-Says players weren't developed under Shannon (in not so many words)
-Was asked if Shannon was a bad coach (said he wasn't going to comment on that) but says we are going in the right direction now.
-Staff is hand cuffed right now.
-Trusts Al Golden and says he's a fantastic man.
-Reminds him of Schnellenberger.
-Talk to "US" not that other person you were talking to yesterday (Luke) then you'll find out the real story.
-Come talk to the momma's about Al Golden.
-Asked Sideo "Do you know what went on at Booker T? Let me know when you want to have lunch"
-Ended the interview with "We'll see".

That man is a cancer to the program he played for. At times he'll sy that he is proud to be a UM alum but onthe other side of uis mouth he'll bash the football program. It's best to changd the channel and hope the station lets him go.
 
I Did the same thing. i just dont listen to 560am from 10am-1pm. it is so obvious he got it out for the U. and what hurts the most is he allowed Luther to com on the show and said what he said without checking him. You see how he was asking the closed ended questtion to coach Harris and how the coach set him straight, and once he noticed that he would not sign with him he lost interest in the interview.

As canes fans we need to stand up, cause what he is doing is no better than what Neving Shapiro did. Also dont forget that Luke was also at the center of the previous Pay for play incident that put us probation previously. and to allow him to come on and bash the U is tha last draw. i will never listen to his program ever again.

i wish there was a way we could start a boycott of 560am until they get rid of him.
 
I stopped listening to him within a month of his hiring. He sounded dumb as **** and talks over others just so he can listen to himself talk. If we don't listen, no advertising revenue, he gets fired. It's as simple as that.

Sileo thinks he built the program, refers to it as "my school". Consistently drops Jerome Brown's name like they were boys. Funny he wasn't boys with any players who are still alive. I hate this piece of crap. He says he speaks the truth and the fans don't want the truth. Sileo drastically confuses his opinion with the truth. He is a cancer in the community and to the UM, he needs to be eradicated. The sooner he is out of the market, the better.
 
Don't let anyone convince you otherwise, Dan Sileo and Luther Campbell are only out for themselves and no one else. Certainly not the University of Miami. And you'll have a hard time convincing me they have the community as wholes best interest at heart either. Oh they'll pound their chest and throw up the U when it's convenient and helps line their pocket. But when it doesn't, they'll never miss an opportunity to air their grievances and be as counter productive as they possibly can be. They are part of a small group of people and alumni who have literally become cancers to this program. Completely unable to get out of their 1980's time warp and realize that Howard and Jimmy aren't walking through that door and these kids from the inner city aren't the same as they where when Alonzo Highsmith and Mel Bratton and Michael Irvin stepped onto campus. But the media, broadcast or print, continues to give them a platform where they can spit their vitriol unchecked. Most of the time with UM unable to respond.

They're literally no better than Nevin Shapiro.
 
The thing I hate most about Sileo is how uninformed he is.

He keeps ranting and raving how we don't recruit South Florida and the inner city hard enough, but he probably couldn't name two recruits.

Who are the studs we're not even looking at?

anyone know the real percetnage of Florida kids on FSU and UF. sileo kept spewing a 90% or 95% range for both. i read on state of the U twitter, it was round 66% and 70% for each.
 
1) Sileo is on the lower end of the intellectual scale

2) Half the stuff he says is false or very embellished (especially about his career)

3) He thinks being outrageous makes him a good talk show host

This is another problem with him, he lies to support his BS points. There is nothing redeeming about Dan Sileo.
