Damon Wilson 2.0

Some of the fringe benefits these guys are demanding now border on the absurd. Like, full time driver for player and parents throughout the season, private flights for family to away games, 5* hotel accommodations for family and agent. etc. I would never go down that path if I were running a collective. This sh*t is so out of control.
Not one thing you said was true except for “this ****” which describes all your posts.

HE BIG BONED.

He belongs at DT. He's as much a DT as Shields was a CB and Ray Ray and James Williams were linebackers. Both the team and the player are going to look back and regret it they don't make the move. His game is more power than finesse. He's a perfect DT transition candidate.
I remember when they played IMG when he was at Central. He wreaked havoc...after moving inside.

or Miami has a budget and DE is way down the allocation list.
This! DEs on roster: Mesidor, Bain, Lightfoot, Bryant, Cole, Pickett, Randolph, Lowe, Scroggins. I think it's highly likely we can find 4-5 quality guys from that list.

WR, DB, DT, RB, and OT are where we should prioritize NIL funds.

In fairness to both us & Wilson, we’re more in need of interior depth than DE depth & we already spent a pretty penny on Beck.

As far as Wilson goes, Mizzou not only chipped him off, but they can sell their production along the DL, particularly at DE. Walker took huge steps in 2023 & 2004 regarding production & will most likely be a top 3-round pick. Then u had Darius Robinson last yr going 1st round along the DL w/ great development.

UGAs too sack & tackle leaders came from the LB positions, so maybe he felt that Dirty Diana $$ + Mizzou’s new found success sending players at his position to the NFL in high rounds was a good move. Mizzou has become a sneaky good program under Eli these last two seasons.

The first (2) names will be challenged like never before after a year of terrible performances.

They will be monitored by this DC , they better clear out the smoke and mirrors of they play or watch out

We have depth at DE?

For the record Missouri really liked him.
This was supposed to be Ohio State all day.

Good for Damon, get that cheddar. But I truly wish Miami could have gotten a visit.

They took 6 DEs in 24’. They bring back Mesidor, Bryant, Bain could move to DT. Whether Bain moves to DT I think will depend on what the team needs. A lot of unproven players. Mesidor might not be hella explosive but he’s reliable as **** on the edge not gonna lose containment, play discipline, and get to the qb. If Bain plays at 265lb, he will be a menace. Hopefuly they can evaluate that position and if need be a top DE shows up in the portal. Also money is a factor, if they had to choose btw an elite edge or DT, they should go with the DT.

Wilson would have been a nice piece to add to the DE room. I'm not sure it's fair to be overly critical of our DE room when our scheme had them stunting or dropping in coverage almost every ******* down. In addition, our ****** corner play allowed the QB to get rid of the ball in 3 seconds or less almost every down. It's hard for anyone to get home at that rate.

There's some good pieces already in the room.

Mesidor
Bain
Lightfoot
Blount
Bryant
Pickett
McConathy
Rudolph
Lowe - FR
Scroggins - FR

You have to imagine Mesidor and Bain are probably the projected starters. However, I think Bain needs to move inside due to him just being a bigger guy naturally and has outgrown that position. Alot of the other guys have shown flashes. I'd say check their development through Spring and go get a DE if no one else has stepped up opposite of Mesidor by then.

Have u not paid attention to recruiting, friend?

We have Bain, Messidor, Lightfoot, Lowe, Scroggins, Pickett Jr, Rudolph, McConathy! Friend, we’re told we’re loaded, therefore I’m going to assume we’re loaded.

You can't post that less than 25% of these croots pan out under Mario, then load them up on the depth chart. Bain could go either way at this point. He looked real DTish to me this year. He hasn't used a pass rush move since he registered for classes. Mesidor is being looked at like he is Abdul Carter on the edge and I haven't see it. Who else registered a stat besides Pickett?

There’s choices this D front needs to make , take ownership of you position and training both tremendously lacking up front.

This DC will root out the weaknesses early I’m sure , yes he’ll speak of all the positives now but the film and how they train in OSW and what look like when they report.

We will see
