Damon Wilson 2.0

Better than California
Per capita, considerably better. California produces lots of players (and very high quality in the Trinity League and Antioch-Concord-Pittsburg axis), but Ohio produces far more D1 guys and NFL players per capita.

According to D$, we’re getting no one but we’re working on an unnamed person who is apparently amazing. The rest are contingency plans and portal. I’m guessing this one is a wrap? Recruiting is tough to follow.

I don't know man, seems pretty easy to follow lately...

UM sucks. We won't win more than 2 more games this season, if that. Our offense is anemic. Our defense is unsound. Our coaches forgot how to recruit. No recruit in their right mind with P5 offers should consider UM. We've never developed anyone at any position. There are like 10K fans in the stands and they're only their to wrongly blame our phenomenal players instead of our loser coaches. Cross every name you know off the list, and prepare for diamonds in the rough and portal rejects to fill the 2023 roster after all our committed studs sign elsewhere.

That's pretty much what I've picked up around here the last few weeks.

I think Day is a good offensive mind, but he took over a Mercedes.

Let's not act like he built anything there.

Urban was 86-9 in 7 years prior to Day.

That is insane.
Tressell was 106–22 and NC (ugh) in 10 seasons prior to Urban.

🤣 it’s insufferable.

Losing really is misery.

Maybe in the minority, but I actually thinks it's 10x harder to maintain success in CFB than just winning a NC. When I see the different types of QBs Day wins with, I'm Impressed. Fields was a one-read QB, as we are seeing now in the NFL. Haskins wasn't exactly Tom Brady 2.0 either, but he had a big arm. For what Day is (which is an offensive HC who wants nothing to do with his D), him sark and kiffin are tops at what they do, imo.

Urban in his prime, was the best modern day coach in my opinion. He coached to his players strengths as well as anyone has.

As much as I hate the man, his tenure at UTAH and those early UF teams were tough. During those days, he was a wizard. Coaches are still recruiting kids to be the next 'Percy Harvin' after how good he looked with Meyer.

Does anyone know what happened here?

I know a few people here where pretty close to this one and Miami was in a great spot.

The defensive line is playing lights out on passing downs and they're insanely improved YoY.
