Meh. Gotta push back on this one. ALOT of college football programs can duplicate an atmosphere like that if its a big time battle. **** we did it when we played ND in 2017. ESPN said it was one of the greatest College Gameday atmospheres they ever had. And I can name 10 college programs who have atmospheres like that every weekend. Esp in the SEC where they aint **** else going on but college football. It was probably a great and unbelievable visit. Not surprising at all especially since they won. But visit high will wear off and he will get back to the drawing board of taking his other 3 OVs.

One time in 2017 vs a regular occurrence? Can you name 10 programs with that atmosphere that have had the success Ohio state has had/is having? I don't even think kids watch College Gameday nor do they remember that one time Miami was on it 5 years ago. To a degree, I get what you are saying but all things together, you're not naming 10 programs that couple success and atmosphere like them

Ok if you are talking success AND atmosphere thats different. You put an emphasis on the fact that not many programs can duplicate that atmosphere and that is what I disagreed with. You did say that them being a top 5 program was also a factor but you kind of slid that in there. lol.

The Wilson family’s visit included watching the team practice on Sunday and the victory dinner.

“Everything we did was first class," the elder Wilson stated. "We had an unbelievable time.”

Wilson took an official visit to Alabama in the summer. He also took unofficial trips to Miami and Georgia. He remains in steady contact with all of those programs as well. Nothing is scheduled moving forward as Wilson locks into his senior season

and any time a top 10 team with a 60,000 plus seat stadium plays another top 10 team the atmosphere is equivalent

Yep I was gonna say I think you guys are saying the same thing

You’re spot on that it’s tough to replicate some of these big 10 100k plus fan atmosphere types

We proved we can do it…but we just don’t have many big games

But it’s always tough going up against schools like this where Miami and Columbus are such drastically different experiences. Tough to figure where a kid is leaning. But I think we just gotta show that in the next couple of years Wilson will be here, that we CAN match that type of hype or at least be in the ballpark

Many programs can duplicate the atmosphere. Only a handful can claim to be a top 5 overall team in the country for the past decade.

I would say Bama, OSU, Clemson, UGA, Oklahoma then everyone else in the next tier.

The point is the atmosphere isn't what sets those teams apart from the others. It is the winning.

One of the most overrated things our fans talk about during recruiting IMO. These kids don’t give af lol they want to be drafted high and win games. You gotta play in cold weather to play in the NFL

There’s a decent list of OSU decommitments from Florida every year for a while now. Don’t we have a commit in this class or last that said they’d never play in the cold?
