Damione Lewis named new DT coach

I am a parent and would not appreciate foul mouth Damion Lewis cursing his brains out to make his point. Verbally he seems like an extremely limited person. He was a great player for UM.
This is like saying you are against the marine school not mentioning fish. Getting in players asses is part of the game.

Miami has its new DT coach. Damione Lewis, a star on the 2000 Hurricanes and first round pick of the St. Louis Rams, will be joining Miami's staff alongside DE coach Jason Taylor.

Lewis broke into coaching at FIU as the Panthers' Assistant Athletic Director of Football/Player Development. In 2020, Lewis joined Pete Carroll's staff on the Seattle Seahawks as DL/DT coach. This past season, he served as DL coach under Deion Sanders for the Colorado Buffaloes. Lewis made an immediate impact, as the team jumped from 66th to 9th nationally in sack percentage and from 95th to 37th in yards per rush against.

A 46-year-old native of Northeast Texas, Lewis played 141 games in the pros between the Rams, Panthers and Texans.

Whats his history with defenses run?

Does he have experiencing running a Heatherman defensive scheme?
Have to believe Heatherman had significant input on hiring him or not.

Also have to believe that this was done to try and get ourselves into the Texas recruiting scene

Think real hard about it. Do you honestly think JT wanted his DE's stunting and dropping back into coverage? Do you know JT's history when he played. Guy was a pass rushing machine. He hated Guirdy and his scheme and we will see what the DE's are supposed to look like under a new scheme where JT is free to let the dogs loose.
Yes, there is a part of me that does believe that the DLine coach did have the ability to dictate the line calls and assignments in situations, as is the case in most systems.. I was more so asking frequency of that happening. And the reason I asked the question is because of a pass rushing machines friend, the stunt. We used it far too much this year in odd timings/situations and I want to know who was responsible for that.

I'll keep thinking real hard about it though to be on the safe side, thanks for the suggestion.

Guidry was responsible.... His D... He made the calls .... I'm not gonna beat a dead horse with it but it was all on him.... Completely outclassed as a DC...

****, my middle school coach called everything dog ****. Played like dog ****, smelt like dog ****, looked like dog ****, softer than dog ****.

I wouldn’t trust my kid with a guy who didn’t cuss honestly.
Personally, I don’t trust people who don’t cuss. You don’t have to be Andrew Dice Clay but there are times in life where cussing is warranted, even from the most articulate among us. If you stub your toe in front of me and then holler “Gee Willickers!!!”, I’m looking at you with the side-eye from then on…

You're too smart for this one... what PEOPLE does a career journeyman who's worked his way up to a different school every year or two have? Yall believe this man in his one year at Minnesota just got the defensive staff falling over to chase after him?
I was trying to be polite. 😉

There is something that shows up on Facebook that says Jesus was going to be called Mark until Mary stubbed her toe.
