Daily Debate: Who will start at Middle Linebacker in 2025?

We have more versatility at linebacker than we’ve had in a bit. Wes gets **** because he’s not a star but he’s a solid starter. We asked Kiko to do a lot of things he wasn’t good at last year. I have NO IDEA wtf was going on with our back seven last season but there was zero communication and a ton of dudes completely missing their assignments. It wasn’t a matter of just not being good enough. Our guys weren’t stars but they weren’t FCS level players like they looked at times. There’s literally basic, high school level things we couldn’t do last year. If we just get the bare minimum basics covered this year, we’ll see a ton of improvement.

Not so sure the starting WLB was solid. He did flash, but disappeared for long stretches. And after watching several years, the instincts don't appear to be there for a switch to MLB.

Worst cases scenario (in terms of overall dev't): WLB moves to MLB and starts.

Best case scenario: someone emerges at MLB, and WLB starter faces a real challenge to keep his job.

LB is the most questionable group. Just guessing, Wes is the Mike with the talk of moving him. I think Kellen could be the Outside starter. A healthy knee for Chase without the brace could solve a lot. Bobby healthy taking a step. Maybe one of them at Will. I just think Pruitt is to small and should be moved.
