Scott was flashing it felt like coming down the stretch… someone’s gotta bring pressure that will be missing with barrows absence

Other notables would be Bryant who I think really flashes or Lightfoot who just needed more size to hold up better but his speed is gonna be a problem for tackles.

Scott showed flashes early on and Pickett had that win on a speed rush against Duke IIRC (or a spin move, can't remember, but it got me out of my seat).

It's rare to see playing time this early (Scott) and Pickett just has a good skillset that we desperately need. We don't have much bend and speed on the edge.

Those two things are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Plus I didn't say that they(young DEs) should be superstars this year. I clearly said development. We absolutely should see something from at least a couple from the group including Blount, Pickett, Rudolph, Lightfoot and McConathy. Sure bring in a portal guy that is experienced and physically mature to be the headliners but we are still going to need production from the group I mentioned above.
