Or maybe Hetherman allows Wes to take the next step and become the type of player that most of us expected. With regards to your first question, when it comes to starting jobs and playing time in general, politics as you described should have absolutely no place in the decision making process! If Hayes or anyone else is beating out Wes then I don't give a flying fig if he went to Central, Columbus or Chaminade and I honestly don't think Hetherman cares either.

It shouldn’t matter if you’re a senior from a major high school and the other is a true freshman from some po-dunk school out in the boonies, best believe he’s coming to take your job…iron sharpens iron. True. However I really doubt that Mario would allow Wes to keep his starting job if someone else had beaten him out because of the Central thing. That would be self defeating as he would lose respect and lose the locker room. I don't think it's naive to think that and this is coming from someone who has been extremely critical of Mario in other areas.

I don't know how much weight if any that Cam Pruitt has gained since arriving but if he's anywhere close to 200 then I'm for a move to Safety. The Pop Shart Bowl was an eye opener.

He was alright but we need him to be really good, minimum.

I have seen him recently and he's just naturally skinny.

Pruitt is one of a handful of tweeners who may not be suited for today's game. There's no longer as big a need for the hybrid LB/S when teams are in nickel 80% of the time.

I really like this Wiley kid and I’ve seen some speculate he could see some playing time this year. You have to be special to see the field a lot as a true freshman LB so we’ll have to wait and see, but there’s tremendous potential there and that’s why Texas wanted him so badly.

He will end up starting unless they plays upper classman style D . I don’t believe rhe new dc plays that bs . You continue to **** up you see the bench . 31 is on borrowed time
