Our tackling as a team has gotten so much better this season, imo. Not just on ST's but on D too.

A few people I know saw him play against my alma mater and said he got pushed around. Chicago rarely produces 5 stars so I was a little nervous at first but he’s impressed me so far and will only get better. I have high expectations for Lightfoot too. He’s definitely redshirting this year but I think in a couple years he’s going to be very good.

It's great that he's getting game action and judging by his kicks vs FAMU and Balls Taint, he's got a big leg with accuracy. Without knowing why Malouf is no longer ST coach, I can only guess it had something to do with not having a backup kicker in 2023. If something happened to Borregales we'd have been screwed but we don't have that problem in 2024.

Said this a while ago that having him redshirt and get as much reps as possible behind a guy like Borregales is a perfect scenario for him.
