Tremaine mack against I think Louisville in the car quest bowl the first time I saw the canes play in Joe robbie stadium t mack was all over the place with interceptions punt and kickoff returns he was responsible for most of our points and keeping there offense out of the end zone he was definitely the reason we won that day
He also single handedly won the Halloween night game against WV, with the blocked punt TD return, when Clement had to start with a dislocated shoulder and with Covington in the hospital with a collapsed lung.

I haven’t seen these mentioned :

Jerome Brown versus West Virginia in 1986. Two blocked field goals, and two or three sacks.

Brock Berlin versus Florida in 2003. First half wasn’t good, but let a second half come back down 33-10 for a 38-33 win.

Honorable Mention:

Ahmmon Richards vs Pitt

- 8rec for 144yds & what should've been a TD, but of course ACC refs gonna ACC ref

(This catch wasn't ruled TD smh)

Not the greatest single game performance, but just wanted to reminisce on how good Ahmmon the Young God was.

He held the distinction of being the only QB in NCAA history to lose to one team 5 times until Sam Hartman joined him recently with his 5th loss to Clemson.

I really liked Rix having that record by himself.

I didn’t realize Hartman joined him in that elite category. Like you, I preferred having Rix stand alone at the top of the podium with that distinction. Oh well.

I tuned in to the ND vs Clemson game after Hartman transferred there from Wake Forest. They mention Rix losing to us 5x and how Hartman could potentially join his company after dropping 4 to Clemson while at his former school.

Really was a shame we got screwed that we couldn’t see him 3 years here. He was so **** good his freshman year.

McGahee running for 205 yards and six touchdowns on 39 carries in 2002 vs VaTech
This and Brock vs UF. Yatil Green vs FSU 97? He was that dude before injuries. There was a talent gap anyone could see. Green to me was tr best player on the field either side. Larry Jones had some games to nominate as well.
