What a great post. Lots of a great performances in the posts above. My personal favorite was Russell Maryland in the '91 Cotton Bowl. This guy was in the backfield all game. I personally give him credit for the term unblockable because that's what he was in that game.
 
Honorable mention: Vilma 2002 Rose Bowl

Made two thunderous hits to keynote an outstanding performance in Miami’s 37-14 victory over Nebraska in the 2002 Rose Bowl… credited with eight tackles (six unassisted), including three for losses totaling 13 yards, one quarterback sack (nine yards) and a forced fumble in the win over Nebraska that gave Miami its fifth national championship
