DAILY DEBATE: What is the scariest game on Miami's schedule?

We’ve seen emotional early losses destroy Miami teams before. So it’s obviously game 1.

But ****** tech scares me because of the mobile quarterback. That can be the great equalizer.

Also everyone saying 35-40 ppg is way off imo. We don’t have that group nor do we have that staff. We’re talented. But compare us to lsu last year. Daniel’s Nabers Thomas. We don’t have that. That first round talent. We still should be a top 20 unit tho.
offense is averaging 49 per game, even in a “bad game” last week we still put up 38.

Watch it be fsu just because that’s how it is
it always be like that in rivalry games. Remember when FSU was coming off their NC in the 2014/15 seasons? Pretty sure in 2014 they were ranked # 2 and only beat us by a FG, 2015 they were ranked 12 and beat us by 5, year following we have the blocked XP for a 1 pt loss and I think they were ranked. Last year they were #4 and we had a backup QB and lost by 7. Just the way it goes.

Most rivalry games are like that but don’t forget the whooping they put on us in 2022. 45-3 I believe

I want to see pay back for that game on 10/26

Cal. We are much improved off a really low base, but like almost all teams we won't win on autopilot. Hopefully squeaking out a VT win will serve as a useful lesson.

And hopefully the 2nd quoted post regarding play style is exactly the issue we had on Friday. Hopefully it was just a matchup problem with their offense and not something inherently deeper with our roster and coaching.

Time will tell but I had the same opinion this summer.

Why you gotta bring that up lol we also beat them 52-10 with Jarren Williams as QB. So yes on occasion they game gets out of hand but a close game would not surprise me at all.
Think King was the QB for that one, Williams led them to a 27-`10 game in tally I believe. But would love to see them get destroyed come 10/26.

IMO, I think @ Louisville will be our toughest test until the ACC championship. They are well coached and can put up numbers. I see a close game with us winning.

You are correct my mistake. I was just remembering Jarren going off against them when he played and thinking he was gon be a good one.

Cal is the scariest. I don’t like the travel and time difference. Plus game day with the hype and haters it’s a trap game. Miami can make their season statement right here with a game day blowout.

Yup and they will say we aren’t good cause of it but if it happens in uga and bama no problem it’s because “SEC”

Teams will have close games that’s part of cfb, you can’t blow everyone out

Right! I love that kid's game, he's high motor on every snap.
He seems like a **** student of the game as well. Dude ain’t playing around he takes this like it’s everything to him. Pause

It’s weird when you just see someone and you know they about business….thats TB. You just see him and you know this dude works his *** off. Don’t even check his resume just hire him.
