Not gonna lie. I root for ACC schools when they are playing SEC teams. I rooted like **** for Clemson last year when they beat LSU in the bowl game. Lol! Was in my hotel in my New years eve suit and all. Wasnt moving one inch. I didnt like LSUs bravado in that game. Tryna act like the U in the 80s. Talked alot of trash during the game, they were super arrogant, and there players celebrated when Sammy Watkins went down. Just real disrespectful stuff.

But the day Sun Life stadium starts chanting, "ACC! ACC! ACC! ACC!" is the day I cancel my season tickets and start watching the games at home. Lol. Although I love how Dabo showed us some love after we beat UF.

I root for almost any team against the sec.... Except for ND them getting an *** whooping from whoever dishes it brings a smile to my face
 
Right now a lot of kids see the SEC as the best conference. How many kids have shown little interest in Miami because they wanted to go to an SEC school? We want the ACC to be stronger because some of those kids will not feel like they have to go to an SEC school to play the best football.

Miami shut down the Big 8 when Sooners and Cornuskers more dominant than Bama and LSU ever dreamed of being all by itself. We didn't need help then and will not need it know. Four years from now people we be saying, "remember when the SEC could beat THE U." The train is rolling. It might make Pasadena this year, but if not 2014 class is a beast we will only be better. The SEC is scarred of us. They know it was THE U that overturned the control the big state schools had of football and understand that we can do it again. We just need to keep a good coaching staff and not in up with another chump like Larry or a lesser recruiting like Dennis. Al is setting us up for another 6 to 10 year run.

I was at the Jay-z and Coldplay show in Brooklyn and sat at one of the bars the whole time Coldplay played and was cheering for Clemson. Didn't go to my seats til it was over.

This is the logic that escapes most on this issue.

The group u are a part of being stronger and being perceived as stronger does benefit the individual within that group.

Look at Ole Miss this year, they are benefiting from being in the SEC to gain the top class recruits they have in their freshman class.

A rise in profile for the ACC keeps more S Fla recruits out of the SEC and more likely to commit to UM. Especially if a rise in profile is partly due to teams at the top of the ACC beating down teams like Bama, LSU, UGA and Florida.

Look at the rise in profile of Texas A&M since joining the SEC.

The best recruits will want to play in the best league an the SEC has that title for many of the best recruits.
 
He's said some good things about Golden in the past as well. He also did a show from the UM campus last year IIRC. He seems to be in our corner, at least from the little I've heard from him (I don't really listen to his show).
