D’Angelo Ponds, CB, 5’10, 150 (Chaminade)- Small but smooth slot corner with speed. Quick to diagnose plays. 10.65 100M and 21.54 200M. More of a pure cover guy than a two-way player or big hitter. Really good at reading screens. Needs to develop more strength. Special teams value as gunner. Unranked with Akron and FAU offers only.

Hussey played a lot last for the Noles as a true freshman, and I’m think even started some games. Some speculation he has some nagging injuries. He is someone we should target early in the portal.

Evaluations. Evaluations. Evaluations. Not sure who’s responsible for Miami’s evaluations of talent, but they are on the clock. A very bright spotlight is shining on him/them moving forward. It start’s locally. It’s an impressive pool of talent to choose from.
