The Dalvin Cook still will never end. It will only get worse IF he is successfull at FSU. It will get even worse if we field the same kind of team next year

he should have success, so what!!! he has one other running back to deal with this coming year and if anyone saw that cat run the ball, it will not surprise me if Cook gets the bulk of the carries. Let's see what our top rb recruit can do along with the 3 others we have returning before we mope and cry.

Watching that Cook film is nauseating, can't believe we let that dude get away.

See, this annoys me.

We didn't let him get away, from all accounts, our staff worked their asses off on getting him.

I'm cool with saying that we lost him, that other schools beat us out for him...cause that's true, but we didn't just stop recruiting him and let him leave. While the end result may be the same, there is a difference between flat out letting a kid leave and losing out on him. I'm not saying this to defend Golden or anybody, because well...they lost out on him, just another mark against them, but lets at least be intellectually honest about it.

That wasn't the point of my post. I never said losing him was acceptable or anything, didn't say it to make you feel better, I'm just asking for some intellectual honesty...that's all.

There are plenty of reasons to be frustrated with our coaching staff, enough that we don't need to make any up. It ain't my fault that you're making this reason up.

Now lets get back to the topic at hand, it's nice to see Miami getting some good talent in, and hopefully Valentine sticks. He has the potential to take this class from good to very good.

He also let us know early on in the process and I don't think that's a coincidence.

It is when the staff practically set up shop in the guys house and probably had their mail going to the grandmas residence too they were their so much. I have forgotten about Cook just like I did when we lost Bobby Washington. (who IMO was a worse situation then losing Cook cuz BW was every bit the stud that Cook is AND he wanted to be here) Its Time to move on now and let Cook go.

The staff definitely courted Sony.. I almost couldn't believe my eyes at the wake forest game when they had him right behind the 1st team offense on the field like he was a coach before the game.

I think the bust factor is extremely high with Cook. Think he is an amazing talent, but we'll see. Yearby is spot on in my opinion. Cook seems to have an AP level of expectation. I'll gladly eat my words later, being objective as a football fan and not a UM fan.

My sentiments exactly. Personally, I think he projects better on defense. Phenomenal athlete but he isn't the pure runner that Yearby is. I still hate to see him go to our rival but it doesn't scare me either.
