"Best team money can buy!" It feels great to say that openly!

I understand why you feel that way after the admin underfunded and under-supported the football program for decades. What fan wouldn't vindicated that we are becoming great again now that we aren't fighting with both hands tied behind our back?

And yet I absolutely hated when @DMoney made that "Best team money can buy!" comment. It disrespects the incredible recruiting effort and roster turnaround this staff had pulled off. And it's an insult to the players to think they're Canes just for the money. It's something I could see our rivals saying to dismiss our success.

There are 10-20 other programs out there who could match us dollar for dollar for any given recruit or transfer target we were pursuing. Yet we beat out Bama, Taint, Georgia, A&M, FSU, UF, LSU, OR and countless others for many of our best players. This team is so much more than a bunch of mercenaries.
