Pete, after you said Bama seemed to be getting tired of the back and forth with him, I figured they would give him an ultimatum this weekend. I know there are things you hear that you cant repeat. Like when a recruit tells you he plans to commit on a certain date. You cant leak that or you risk other guys not telling you what they know or hear. So without asking specifically what Jobe has said to you recently or in the past, do you personally believe we can get him back? I get that we should recruit talent to the very end, no matter that and you just said the ship hasnt sailed. But is that because the early signing period hasnt arrived yet, or do you honestly think theres a realistic chance he flips back?

Lol I know man. I've been pretty vocal with my opinion of him. I can't understand why the coaches continue to bother. So rather than me flipping out over hearing the coaches aren't giving up (as I've done after every update), I'm hoping Pete says there's some.. unknown reason behind it. I agree, I just don't see why all the fuss over this kid. I've seen his tape, SF is loaded with kids with his talent. Now if it was a top notch D linemen we were losing I wouldn't be happy. Ivey looks every bit or better than the game player we lost, no worries. Pick up one or two more and we'll be fine, now get us a great big monster lineman as a Christmas surprise and make our day. This an absolute killer of a class IMO. Awesome!
