Curtis Porter is The MVP of The Team. He's The Missing Piece

Trying too hard thread is trying way too hard

What are you talking about?

Every post you have made for months is about Curtis Porter. You try too hard.

The guy made a quality post with visual evidence to back up his claims. Whats the problem here?

I have posted with the guy for years. I don't need to explain. If you don't get it, then that's fine.

some people still carry baggage from grassy..but regardless that was a very good post. And I dont think Luther Robinson would be getting penetration b/c the way he does it is by slipping blocks and we all know thats a no no for Frio.

Whatever. He's a good troll. Congrats.

But I do agree and have agreed with him for a while that Porter is our best lineman. Its just pretty difficult to be so matter of fact about someone who doesn't play much.

Either way we need him badly, especially when it comes to a team like GT. He knows his responsibilities.

Film does not lie. I wish I could tell you something else. The truth is this defense will not run without Porter. Our youngins look good. Moore, Briscoe and Ivery are some big boys. But they are just pups and not ready to man the front. They can give you some quality snaps but they are not taking on grown men and winning those battles at the point of attack just yet.

Teams are collapsing our front which has a ripple effect on the defense. Porter is the only one who can man the front. This thread is just giving people some hope that things will not be as bad as they were Saturday. Porter bring stability upfront that is badly needed.

So I am a Troll now?:ohlord:

City and others do we know if Porter makes it back for GT?

Everyone was counting that game as a W before the season but the lack of experience had me worried from the get go. We need.guys who have seen it before and been successful.

GTs offense is all about momentum. I can see a young team giving up a big run or two and falling apart trying to do too much. Its where we need vets like Porter to step in and keep everyone in check.

Needless to say I am a little worried about that game.

D$$ or anybody in the Know, when will Porter be back. He is what the Dr. ordered for our DL, along with Luther.

Want me to write out your next ten posts? I bet I could.

But let's just move on no need to get all uppity about something dumb here.

lol. Curtis Porter is turning into Samson Doyo. Kid is made out of glass and has played in 4 games in two years or some shi* like that, yet he is the MVP of this team?? He's turning into a living legend just like the #2 QB on some team where the #1 QB is struggling.

The crazy thing is that Porter missing game were never football related. Last season was non football related as he had an infection and this year it was his appendix:ohlord:

You missing the point. Porter is the MVP of the team because the defense can't operate without him

Having Porter back is key to us having any chance against GT, I think we get smoked if he isn't able to play.

I was ready to laugh at this post but its hard to deny the images.

A defensive tackle could finish a game with 0 tackles and 0 sacks and still have a massive impact by pushing linemen into the backfield.

If Porter can replicate what he did in those images and stay healthy you'll see a drastic improvement from the defense.

Good post.

Truth

The Giants last Thursday. Pierre-Paul literaly blew up EVERY passing play and forced Romo to do things he didn't want to.
Paul ended the game with like 0 sacks or tackles but he was BY FAR the most impactual player on the line.

Stats DO lie - especially in gap control defenses like this.

Go ask Saban who his most important player is on defense. Bet it's not a 100+ tackles LB
