Current Roster is 3 & 9 at best next year…MC’s year 4 special

This is not really a debatable assessment.

IF Emory is QB 1 next year, it's a 3-9 season. Guy looked like a kid who had never played football before last night. Notre Dame will injure him if he just stands there like that. ZERO improvement/development observed.

The defense MAY improve, but it MAY not.

With what we know and what we can assess, its 3-9.

IF we get a good QB, it changes.
IF the defense drastically improves, it changes.

There's what we know and what COULD happen.

We'll have a better idea after the Spring Game.

I agree we have some good players but we have a lot of unknowns also. We need a overhaul of the coaching staff.
 
I get yall r dissapointed, but the team can get better next season it all depends if Mario makes the necessary changes. Priorities get a dynamic qb, when I mean dynamic I mean athletic not expecting a Cam Ward, Fire Guidry and make the right hire, and fill the holes in with the transfer portal. Need a LB, 1 more safety & CB, WR, TE, C obviously a QB, and I would say 1 more DE and DT bc u never know what u are getting with 2nd year DL and injuries happen.

Yeah, we need 1 proven player at each of these position, DE, DT, CB, S, and LB. Can the defense still get better if they don’t fill in all the holes and unknown? Im sure they can that’s just how bad the coaching was on that side of the ball.

I've been advocating for the GM to run player evaluations, NIL, recruiting, and coaching decisions. Mario needs to solely focus on getting better where he is deficient in: gameday preparation, building a competent staff, and in game management.

If you believe that stacking talent and building your team through the trenches is how to build a winning team, you should be excited about next year.

If not, all the recruiting class jerk fests we’ve had the last three years were meaningless.

This team is a competent transfer quarterback and an improved defensive staff from being a playoff contender.

I belive in building inside out but I also believe if you see a trash dc you can’t fix it with talent . Kinda like u can put all kind of talker around Emory he’s not the answer

I don’t disagree.

Do you think the foundation on defense is there that we could field a solid defense with a better coaching staff?

I get it that our defensive backs for the most part were sub par this year but I find it hard to believe that our players were so talentless that they couldn’t stop anyone. Manny made a respectable defense out of the same group of players who couldn’t stop a nose bleed under D’Onofrio. I don’t see why a capable coach couldn’t do the same with this group.

Offensively, get a starting quarterback in the portal and they’re good. Obviously there’s going to be drop off from this year but they can still field a really good offense with a decent quarterback.

I agree we need someone like Alonzo high Smith more than ever with the way college football is basically semi pro.

From my understanding and maybe @DMoney or @Peter Ariz or someone can correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Alonzo Highsmith brought in for that role and Mario in essence ostracized him and froze him out of personnel decisions?

Martinez a beast and a monster protecting the QB
River & hope Anez stays
Borregales - top FG kicker
Hope Messidor stays and play DE

We all know DC and other coaches must find new gigs.

Not a mope by any means but it discomforts me the idea of a potential awful season with 2 huge rivalry games at home…. In year 4
