I agree with him.... Besides if the Committee is smart a Miami- ND matchup is a ratings bonanza. That alone with Cam Ward and the #1 offense will probably sell more than every game in the first round and possibly the second.

I think leaving out the number 1 offense in the country when they have a perfectly valid argument to get it would be foolish. You can scheme to stop Milroe and Oklahoma proved it. You can not stop Cam Ward as no team has shown that yet.

Good for him. It's about time he got out there nationally and did this. I think he should have at least done this yesterday.
I say this not expecting to win a playoff game, but playing in a bowl outside the CFP without probably 25 players between the draft eligible and portal is probably a loss anyway. Getting this out for the majority that will absolutely lose their mind again, when we lose.

You’re going to find out today. There’s no possible scenario that Miami or Alabama jump each other after today.

Whoever is ranked ahead of one another, will live for a few more days at minimum. The other is effectively eliminated.

You could make the argument SCar’s résumé can improve if Clemson beats SMU, but Bama holds the H2H.

I agree … FSU would have limped into the playoffs while I believe we can make the most out of the opportunity.
Mario is leaning on the idea that we have one less loss than Bama but I think.. just like the case from FSU last year… the committee will put in who they believe would be better suited for the competition. If whoever gets in that last spot and they get embarrassed in their first game .. the other team that was kept out will have a lot to say about the selection.

They already put an undeserving Bama team into the playoff rankings a few weeks back. Playoff committee wants Bama. I think we will feel like FSU did last year.
