Ah. This makes a ton more ****ing sense. I will say, however, we need a few more teachers on board.

I agree - the knock on Carroll via the interwebs is that he's not really a "teacher" - more of a "recruiter and tweeter". This does however pave the way for Carroll to take another gig in the future and for us to fill that void with a teacher...

I guess the NFL guys didnt want to come. I like the hire though

Even if the NFL did come, maybe he didn't want to move out of Miami or his wife could have told him she's not moving anywhere, and most know how that goes. Don't know If he has any kids, but that could have factored into the decision as well. Honestly, why would anyway leave Miami if they didn't HAVE to.

That was my concern about this as well. No question Mario is a good recruiter. But I don't know how appealing it is for Coley to have a position coach who played O line and has no experience coaching WRs. All the same, good guy to have on board.

What makes you think he can coach wr's? How long do you think he'll stay?

People are already missing is that Fisch was an NFL WRs coach. It's not hard to imagine he creates the framework to fit within his system.

He meant that, in his view, this means that NFL WR coaches didn't want to come here.
