Man stop it. The guy can just recruit. Nike has been with Oregon since forever and they still haven’t won anything. Even if you watch their team they still have glaring holes but Mario and staff is doing a great job coaching. Especially that secondary. It’s horrible.

Yep. Washington St gonna give the secondary more than they can handle. Ducks gonna be off the chain once Mario and Leavitt get their players in though...
 
Cristobal has certainly improved since we last saw him down here. No arguments there. Spending time at Alabama gaining experience/work habits etc. from Nick Saban the GOAT is expected. Kirby is doing well; Pruitt is a wait and see; McElwain was a bust - but, 2 out of 3 is not bad. If you count Mario - 3 out 4 is pretty good.

He is the most natural successor and natural fit to replace Richt when he decides to hang it up or gets fired (hopefully not soon from the program's perspective)

You must be keep up with Oregon haha because it’s going to be scary what WSU will do to that secondary. However, I agree once those guys get their players they’ll be good out west.

Anyone who thinks Cristobal will come here if he is successful at Oregon is crazy. We also won't pay him more then Oregon can. Forget about it.. if he turns into a stud of a HC then we screwed up, again.

And man if that really does happen I'm going to go crazy knowing that we had the chance to get Butch or Cristobal and we chose the guy with 15 years of underachieving under his belt.

I would be willing to hire Pedro Mirabal, my bank officer as OL coach. He’s never played or coached football, is nearing retirement and has trouble moving around but I’m confident he can do a much better job than Searels right now. He can at least entice recruits with free checking and a toaster.
