I recall when this occurred, as it was a practice that worked, efficiently, and thoroughly.
It was in Skidmore, MO on July 10, 1981. A small town that had one overbearing, threatening, feared bully named named Ken McElroy.
One can read his history - and he was one bad man that had the whole town feeling threatened. A really bad man that everyone feared.
But after being released on bond, he was in his truck with his wife in front of a bar - and the root word in law enforcement was executed - as was he.
It was downtown, broad daylight, scores of folks out and about their business when the good folks of Skidmore removed the threat of Ken McElroy forever.
He was shot by ostensibly one to four men as he sat in his truck - and died very quickly.
In spite of scores of folks on the same street that day - no one saw a thing. No one in that town knew what happened - nor anything about it. In spite of County, State, and Federal Investigators - no one was ever charged.
It was a big story at that time - that vigilantes did the deed.
Laws are rules agreed upon for living together in relative safety. Laws on the books are useless without Law Enforcement - Force being the root word there.
When Laws, Law Enforcement, and the Courts do not operate to a level of functioning - then the Community has a choice at some point - and may elect to apply the "Force" aspect of the Law.
If Laws are bad - and hurtful to a community - our Founding Fathers by setting up the ultimate arbitrator of Justice - gave us the Trial by Jury.
With this - a bad law can be negated - even if a person violated that law with certainty - the Jury can negate that law by Jury Nullification. More powerful than the Supreme Court.
Say everyone's pizzed at the [Unconstitutional] Federal Income Tax (not one law for Federal Income Tax) - and every time someone is found Not Guilty of not paying their taxes - then the Regulations - they no longer have any teeth. And it would thus be negated - without violence or mass protest.
When a condition exists within a community that threatens them - and the Law, Law Enforcement, and Courts fail that Community - if the Community uses force - even deadly force - to eliminate the ongoing threat to the Community - then those actions are justified, as the safety of the Community is the only purpose of the Law, Law Enforcement, and Courts.
This is just a more focused, condensed, practical application.
Across America - it may be up to Citizens to clean up their own communities with Jury Nullification - right there for the purpose it was intended.
One or more gets charged with removing a community threat with a long trajectory of doing things that threaten the community - one has Jury Nullification to ensure Justice without oppressive punishment.
Some of these videos - there's some folks that need to assume ambient temperatures.
It's odd. Under Biblical law thousands of years old, these folks were stoned - a community event - with everyone possible participating.
It seems that the Source of All - deemed such actions "kosher." And they didn't bother with Circuit Courts, Multiple Appeals to higher and higher Courts - they just walked them outside and took care of business.
Swift. Certain. Efficient. Inexpensive.
