At 6'2 212lbs it seems like he would above average speed and coverage skills compared to your average OLB. It seems like 15-20 would make him an ideal OLB. Ami way off?
Would be nice, because I don't want to see him at S.

He's going to play a lot this year at safety. People need to start wrapping their heads around that.

If true that is an indictment of our Safety corps and not a testament to his ability.
Perhaps this is true, but we've seen players get better here under Golden. No reason to think that Kacy can't do the same.

HMMMMM. what do you mean by A LOT?
i think he will be a backup in the rotation...Jamal Carter will probably jump him by midseason or sooner

Sure I can see your point in regards to player development. Having said that I just don't think Kacy is a very good football player - he seems to have maxed out his potential.
The younger guys are seemingly impact players and I would take that over an average veteran who is a liability as a last line of defense.
He is going to play one way or another simply due to depth issues, but I hope his reps are limited.
This is all based on his previous work. If he comes out and balls, consider me gladly surprised/shocked, but I don't foresee that happening.
I regards to Golden and Player development, he has been able to maximize guys' talent who are talented from the get go (I.e. Streeter, McGee). I have yet to see him do the same with the less talented guys. Not saying he can't, just have yet to see it

I agree that Carter will jump both Kacy and AJ by at least mid-season, if not sooner. The coaches seem to trust Fentress, and Tolson has been around for 3 years, so those two might be in the mix. Hopefully Bush and Jenkins take a firm hold on both safety positions and play most of/the entire game.
