Could Anthony Campbell return?

Anthony Campbell started his career at Indepence Community College in 2019 before transferring to ULM in 2021 and finally Miami in 2023. With the new JUCO rule and the COVID year, looks like he could have 1 more year of eligibility.

I think him returning will be great for the overall depth of the DT room.

Read the article or threads on Armondo Blount. He is going to be a Defensive End here. He will never put on the weight to play DT.
Which is just as well, because the kid looks like he could be deadly at end.

We’ve had too many guys who can’t play here on the roster for numbers and then magically somehow they’re playing here. We’ve had so many bad upperclassmen getting snaps and then younger players who could play here transfer because they’re not. Gotta stop that.

He might have a few nice plays on film throughout the year, he has a few traits...but he's not really a Miami level player. But, if he leaves, I feel you should jump back in the portal and get another Anthony Campbell. Perhaps another Lichtenstein.

Not sure who ever said kid would start day 1. Why do people make up stories.

I don't remember many people saying that. He moved up a class and most here stressed that he likely would need time to mature physically.

Anytime anyone expects a true freshman to walk in and dominate is setting themselves to for disappointment. Ruben Bain and Jeremiah Smith are rarities.. Most guys need at least a year..

Do you watch this team? Why are you asking if he played. The kid is going to be a great player. He might be the youngest player on the team.
