WTF has that been all year?!? Kid is a natural and looked more explosive than I was expecting.

Ok, that's about all I got. Trying to find positives. Only thing I got is that and the fact that we will most likely not have to get our teeth kicked in by FSU twice in the same season.

DMoney, interested to hear your thoughts on last night. You seem to usually have good perspective. What's the deal?

The Gators suck worse.

OK, that's the last positive.

Would like to know your perpective D about coach D and the DL and incoming kids. Are we looking good for the long haul or is this a repeat of the previous times of just bad football. Will we ever be UM again?

Dmoney how do you feel about your boy Morris now?

He threw for 324 yards, we ran for 28 yards and the defense gave 549 yards. But I wake up to multiple threads calling for Williams. There isn't going to be an intelligent debate on the topic so I'll leave it alone.

Fair enough, just boot the tards off the board so we can have a serious discussion mane.

I am with you D on Morris, I felt he played a good game. Like you said , I will leave thst along. Do we run any 2 man under, those crossing passes are killing that cover 3.

81 yards of that 324 came from a wr screen. Another 84, came from one of his toss ups. Leaves him 159 yards on 27 attempts.

No INTs, some drops. There were some inaccurate throws and missed opportunities (reads) but he did his job.

IMO, the deal is we have too many average players on defense and they aren't overachieving. There are no excuses. It's recruiting and coaching. The past five games show that the defense really hasn't improved and is still bottom of the barrel.

On offense, the play that stands out is the 3rd and 2 on the opening drive of the second half. Coley brings in 22 personnel with Malcolm Lewis, a formation we've run out of every single time. We run a true freshman and he gets stuffed.

This tells me a few things. First of all, everybody in the stadium knew what we were going to do. Second, Coley doesn't trust the quarterback. Some of that is on Morris, but Fisch trusted him just fine with Duke and Mike James in the backfield. Third, we have failed to recruit a big back we can count on.

It's a sickening, familiar feeling.

Hoping Corn stays on offense; displayed vision and burst on his return, aka things we need. Would love to see him in the slot or in the flat out of the backfield.

Thank you for bringing this up. After FSU, I realized that Burns is not a natural kid for KOR. You can tell he just doesn't have it. I have been calling for corn all season for returns. So, last night, burns shows - again - that he is just not the right guy for returns. They finally put in corn and he has a great return. What do the coaches do? Put burns in there for the next 2 KORs. Smh. Mind boggling.

From what I've heard and seen from Greentree, Corn Elder looks like a future star on defense. There are very high hopes for him at corner. He is also a psycho competitor who is impressing everyone from an intangibles standpoint.

He is too thin for running back, IMO. His physical skill set translates to corner and we need more elite athletes and competitors on that side of the ball.

I think we have enough playmakers on defense

Dume has more talent then us on defense? We don't need elite talent to play tough Defense. It's the scheme and the DC.

We have a lot of good talent at CB: Gunter, Howard, Crawford, Burns, Elder. Too bad they aren't asked to play toward their strengths.

I'm at a loss for people who think Morris played bad last night. VTech had the #1 pass defense, were allowing QBs under 50% and 17 INTs. Our guy went for 300+ 2 TDs 0 INTs, with a few bad drops and we have people complaining.

Take away the two big long 80yd runs for TDs and he had 159yds on 27attempts... Garbage and anyone who defends him ecsecially after his post game interview where he's munching on a snickers needs to take a reality pill
