Black Mamba plays RB for Ducks, Corn to start off as DB for Canes....tough to compare

That was the whole reason for my post. I don't get starting him out as a DB.

We need depth at DB and the coaches feel he's a better fit to start at CB. He can still make an impact in the return game.

Thomas was being recruited as a CB by USC which is why he de-commited and went to Oregon. Thomas is more explosive than Corn, kid has crazy burst and change of direction skills.

Thanks for all the feedback and a few laughs. When I heard he signed with us I went straight to youtube and started watching vid on him. After watching it I kept thinking I had seen that footage before and then it clicked and I realized I was thinking of Thomas highlights. Its funny if you look at Scout they have Corn at RB with breakaway speed and Thomas as a CB with closing speed. The 2 of them are are pretty much identical trait wise and even speed wise on the senior high school level with both in the 4.4 range. I trust the coaches but really want to see this kid on O in the future.
