Does he remind anyone else besides me of DeAnthony Thomas? Same build in high school. Same vision. Same running style. Played same position on D. Even hit and tackled the same. But then, maybe its just me.

Black Mamba plays RB for Ducks, Corn to start off as DB for Canes....tough to compare

Deanthony was really physical for his size when I watched his hs tape. I feel as though corn can play the same role, maybe not as much burn as a rb but he's gonna be a playmaker no doubt

I just hope we don't "Hester" the kid. I felt like he could really contribute on O. He did state on Rivals that most coaches told him to be ready to play 2 positions as a Frosh so I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Hes fast but not DThomas fast. I agree he could definitely contribute on offense but right now we seem to have enough playmakers on O, and hes not the type of back that we need to compliment Duke at the moment. I think he's better served helping out on D and special teams this year. We could use some help at CB and there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a playmaker at CB. There have been plenty of guys that have come and gone that could have played O but ended up playing D for us here.

All hilight films make anyone look good but kid is ok at RB he aint all that to be honest. At DB he could be a better player thbere than at RB
dudes frame is small and cant take a beating, its like having a way slower DVD at RB.

We currently have two similar style runners at RB (Duke & Crawford).

Elder is a natural runner, so he can start off learning how to play Corner, and if necessary, he can easily transition back to RB.

I've seen him 4x between his junior and senior year. He's legit. For our system he'd be better at corner and special teams. If he woulda went to Vandy or auburn he'd be a playmaker on offense..

At least between him and gray we know if they pick it off they have a good shot to take it back. I'm sure he will play slot some if he performs well in practice

To the OP, I think he looks more like McCluster and like many I think Corn will red shirt year one to add good weight. We'll see where our coaches have him come next Spring. He does look electric with the ball in his hands.
