Vets know the deal. I remember when i was first told he was legit interested in UM, I got excited , all though it was still early and I was in my zoomed out phase with recruiting. Then I checked out his 247 page and saw Lakeland lol. I was like “ welp thats not happening”. Maybe I’ll be wrong one day but this theory is close to 100 % and for a long *** time.

I still lean LSU for Ricks , UF and maybe Bama if / when they miss on CM

I said the staff thought they had a chance but in the same post I said “ Remember this is Lakeland “. Then somebody responded with “ he’s not originally a Lakeland kid “ and I was like “ Idc,point stands“

im not blaming you or even calling you out. more os the staff is excited from multiple insiders lol. it felt like a Manny or richt recruiting move lol. a vet staff like we have should know.

I didn’t take it that way, I was just stating.

I’ll never hang my nuts on the line for a LHS recruit.

I never got my hopes up with this kid.
Highly rated Lakeland kids have never come here.

I wonder if Ricks will drag his committment out past ESD and NSD since I remember hearing from a Gator writer that he's not going to be able to be an early enrollee anyways. I'm with cha on LSU being out in front at the moment too.

We all wanted to believe. New Coach, NIL Money to compete on a National stage and contrary to some posters think we do have a staff that can recruit with the best of them even when the record is what it currently is.

However, there are 3 things in life - Death, Taxes and Blue Chip Lakeland kids not coming to Miami.

Heard from a buddy back in the 757 who is connected that is Bama and LSU that are his top 2 now. But that could change if/when he takes his OVs.
