Maybe on this team Julio could have played corner because watching middle tennessee run Hail Marys for touchdowns was disgustingIn general but of course lol

So its your belief that this past off season was a 1 off? Please don't say yes.The pay for WR passing OT referenced earlier in this thread is due to more of a perfect storm of a few young studs hitting the last yr of their rookie deal all at the same time, while the #1 and #2 WRs in the entire league received new contracts through FA and a trade, than it is a change in positional values by front offices.
Team building wise, most NFL teams are taking the franchise LT over the franchise WR at the top of a draft because they are much much harder to find
I'm on board with the current focus Mario has, build the trenches as the #1 priority and then you can add the outside playmakers once you have both lines set. Which makes sense if they are operating on a NIL budget and only have so many dollars to spread around. In the meantime you need to get creative and scout like **** through the portal to uncover a few WRs who can bridge the gap.

That's not the point. Marquise Brown. Tee Higgins, and Michael Brown will all be due for contracts so it's not an end in sight. The point you tried to make was teams will value OL over WR and that is bat**** crazy. If anything all the WRs you named have shown why it's important to spend big at the position. The NFL market doesn't go up then back down the 2022 deals now become the floor.Adams, Hill, Kupp, Brown, Samuel, Kirk, Sutton, McLaurin and Metcalf will all not be getting new contracts next yr. The best FA WR next yr might be Jacobi Myers, so the answer is yes
if the Cowboys and Vikings are smart they will try and get Lamb and Jefferson done, but neither is in great cap space to do that next yr
meanwhile Orlando Brown, Conklin and Quentin Nelson are going to get ENORMOUS contracts as FAs, and the edge market is going to explode with the Bosa extension and Chubb contract as he continues to dominate so far this year

Just in time for him to see them lose to Missouri.streets saying he canceled his visit to Bama this weekend
Think you are missing the boat on this one but ok.exactly, and the huge group of WRs last yr set a new floor for WR. There haven't been any major OT's and Edge's reset the market at those positions recently, and that wave is about to start which will push WR down a few spots.
The sheer number of stud WRs I listed above alone is why the positional scarcity of the franchise LT is only going to force teams to value them even more highly moving forward
Just 5 months ago two OTs went before any WRs in the first round, 2020 3 OTs before WR, 2019 3 OTs before WR, 2018 3 OTs before WR
How about momma McClain, I heard she wanted a huge NIL for herself
So about this kid McClain?
