I've noticed that Blue Jays in South Florida have become appreciably more aggressive in the last few years. No joke. Like to the point of attacking neighborhood cats and screaming incessantly at people posing no threat to them or their potential nests.

Keep an eye on it. Something bigger may be afoot.

Mockingbirds ain’t no joke either. I’ve seen them chase off birds 3-4 times their size and if you get close to their nest, they’ll dive bomb at your head.

It’s not worse than Norvell and Hunter. Hunter chose Jackson State out of nowhere with no outward hesitations in his FSU commitment.
