If you’re a top 10 player in the country why would you transfer your senior year? I don’t really understand.
so many variables here but you underestimate 2 things here...

1. Kids are "handled" at that level more than you think

2. most of these kids are frontrunners (not saying Cormani is) but most kids aren't trying to be somewhere that everyone else isn't.

On3 spoke to his mother regarding his recruitment:

Having so much hype around you can be a lot to deal with but McClain has a great support system led by his mother, Tikisha White.

“To be honest, I kind of take care of everything so he don’t have that impact on him to be worried about. Make sure there’s not too much on his shoulders to deal with,” White told On3.

She said that while he hoped to make a decision in June or July, that won't be the case as he has plenty to figure out. She also said three schools are talking to him the most: UF, UGA and Bama

She says she has a favorite she would like to see him at but that he is going to make the decision and the family will support whatever the choice is.

White said one of the most important things she is focused on is developing a relationship with the coaches of each of the staffs.

“This is who you’re going to be working with for the next couple of years,” White said. “This is who’s going to have a big impact in your life. This is somebody who’s going to teach you to be better and just the atmosphere. As long as he’s good with atmosphere too cause that’s where he’s going to be living at. That’s kind of most important.”
