The Frampton concert was basically The Frampton Comes Alive tour...The Pink Floyd concert was beyond epic. I was maybe 50ft from Ronnie Van Zant at the Skynyrd concert. All from 1977....

Brother, @RVACane absolutely the 70’s the greatest years in music history.
Any time I here any songs from the 70’s it stops me in my tracks and my high school years ( the happiest time in my life) downloads .

I thank God for these memories they are fresh and vibrant in my mind and heart.

It was an incredible show...but the Pink Floyd concert was beyond epic...at the Old Miami Baseball Stadium (no longer there)

Nope. As legendary as it was, never stepped foot in the place.

That place was our go to in the mid to late 70s....same with the Lakeland Civic center.

Never saw a concert in the baseball stadium but did see a couple in the OB. Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Doobie Brothers was epic.

My father and his groundskeeper hated concerts in either stadium. The fields were trashed and the crew picked up trash for days.

Had many friends go and to this day, I’m not sure why I never did other than I had a lot of family stuff going on in the 70’s.

I personally feel with the horrific outcome of our offensive output. Why would you keep Gattis? Let’s cut our losses and hire a G5 OC, or pluck an up-and-coming OC coach. Coach Mario is dropping the ball big-time here, as we continue to lose elite south Florida wide receivers.
Still hoping Gattis is gone… and soon.

Saw Aerosmith 5 times in the 70s...saw them with Nugent in 78 and it was total insanity. Last encore was Nugent and Aerosmith playing Johnny Be Good (at Lakeland Civic Center)

I would have loved to have seen these concerts , after my football injuries my world dreams of playing for Canes collapsed and couldn’t afford much had to work constantly to survive.

Thank God for my boss and UM alumni players and family taking me to all Canes games , I couldn’t afford it on my own.

I saw them during that same tour in NYC in ‘77.

We went to see so many concerts from 75-79 it was absurd. My 1st was Black Oak Arkansas in 75 at the Ft Myers Armory.
