He is our #1 target but I think you are overplaying the statement that personal relationships point our way. I think it is what has us in the game but everything thus far has been from our side which will always be biased.

we might not get A or B kid but for the new boss is not the same as the old boss. we will win some of these battles this year.

When you have a staff like we do now, you know they're not conceding a recruit to anyone. They're saying a big FU to Saban, SMaRt, Riley, Day etc. And Napier and Norvell might get the Gator/Nole equivalents of the Duke Johnsons, Chickillos, Blades who are committing to their schools no matter who is HC. But their territories are up for grab other than that tiny handful of kids.

(sarcasm) Anytime bama comes at a kid, it’ll be a fight. But I’d have liked to see McClain or mom in a Super Mario shirt or something.

The hope is that the 3 local Bama CB’s commit to them & crowds their CB class.

If you’re McClain & Bama already has their 3 5-star local CB’s committed in their class one would hope that would be enough for him to at least consider going elsewhere, but 5-star players are weird when it comes to Bama, they have no problem with going to the back of the line at that program smh lol.

I think we’ll have a good shot if we win & have Ruiz offer him an astronomical NIL deal, but it’ll be an absolute Dogfight to the very end.

Hopefully Bama lands AJ Harris that’s the one that’ll be a battle for them
