Class tumbles outside the top 10 into #12 if he de-commits.

Mario was brought in to win these battles. If you’re going to take so long to hire a staff, your recruiting needs to be the bright spot and take attention away from that.

So far, nothing program-changing has come from the off-season. This would certainly be a tough pill to swallow. It’s a top-heavy class right now - what does that become if we lose the top?

how much did we pay for the commitment in Oct like 5 weeks ago? a check bounce?

If true, that he was pressured by people around him and our NIL offer then I'm not sure even if he does sign here how long he sticks around if we don't see drastic on field improvement.

Ironically, McClain was a catalyst for the Rashada decommit. This is such a **** show. There is very little good faith negotiating going on in any of these deals. Guys are taking substantial benefits pre-signing and still shopping for higher bidders. Don’t count on any highly coveted player until they show up on campus.

We are basically getting Manny classes for 2x cost and 3 less wins per year. Insane

How so? Look at the dbs Bama has produced the past 10 years compared to ours. Look at Bamas record the past 10 years compared to our. The only chance we have to beat Bama out for Mcclain is if we continue to outbid them
Thats nice. But the only way a coach like Mario has at getting an 8 win season is if hes landing the elite players to compensate for his coaching.

Welp, this is what happens when you don’t show results on the field and NIL is the only thing you have to offer.

My biggest concern is that if we have another poor season next year that we end up having an A&M like exodus of kids that only committed because of $$. You think the kids teetering before even stepping on campus are gonna stick around after another season like this one..

I've read some really stupid crap on here in my time. But the top CB in the nation begging for UF to visit him is up there. Maybe at the top.

I mean could that be true? Yes but he committed in October. We already **** the bed and lost to god awful teams and he still committed. Do you think our loss to Pitt is what is now swaying him? No. It is just Bama doing Bama things.
