At this point, what would prevent him from sticking? We've all had PTSD throughout the years of kids committing and decomitting, largely because UM would get off to remarkably hot starts on the recruiting trail only to underachieve on the field and see a max exodus of blue chip recruits. That was a hallmark of the Al Golden era.

The difference is, the product on the field is already complete trash and everyone knows it. Whether this is due just how well Cristobal and his staff recruit, NIL, and opportunity to play early, or a combination of factors, this feels different. There are a multitude of reasons for a player of his caliber to choose another school, but it was UM in the end. I completely agree however, this one is completely shocking.

It’s more about the fact that we some how landed this kid lol
