The DB's in this class at least look fast on tape. Clarke and Branch look faster than blades and ivy did.Speed at LB.....whats that like....is that something we want?
You can coach technique, you cant coach speed.

Who cares about his ranking. I want players that want to be canes no matter what.
Already much thicker than Spence who came to U at about 195-200. Flagg is about 225 now.His team plays tonight on ESPNU at 8pm. We all think he’s undersized but plays bigger. Curious to see him play. If he can be a Sean Spence type i’d be thrilled.
Flagg has not been offered by Texas, Texas A&M nor Oklahoma. Pass on this guy yesterday.
He aint starting over brooks, huff, or cave.Posters on here want this guy out of the class and all he does is tackle, tackle, tackle. Hes your future MLB unless Justin Flowe graces us with his presence.

There is a long list of great players from Texas who got ignored locally. The Chargers drafted two of them in the same draft when they picked Drew Brees and LaDanian Tomlinson.
What jumps out to me is how respected Flagg is by local high school coaches and writers. Everyone says he is a gem. And his measurables are better than people think. The forty is slow, but a 4.43 shuttle and 30 VJ is plenty good at 223 pounds.
We will see, I just don't want UM to not really push for a guy like Hyppolite who is in our backyard because they feel like they have enough LB.There is a long list of great players from Texas who got ignored locally. OLB Huff, OLB Cave and MLB Flagg Jr. are the future at LB... having Brooks and Mathis add much needed versatility and Speed..we good
High school stats are great but his athletic profile reminds me a lot of 55. I’m sure Flagg will come here and have a bunch of tackles but still wish we had Hyppolite or someone who can truly run side line to sideline like a old school cane LB
