I have massive respect for people/players who bust their *** and try to get better everyday. I expect his team mates like him also. Guys like Flagg are probably a good influence on other players.
Exactly. We expect Mario to change that room also, but until it happens, character guys like this are necessary.

If he is a C player, experience at least makes him a B- guy. He is trying to get better and work his off daily…this system may work to his benefit. It’s a wait and see

Where is Chase Smith lol
He is injured which is unfortunately becoming the norm with Chase. I've been a huge fan of his since his recruitment but the kid has just been snake bitten by injuries and constant scheme changes since he has been here. Guidry will be his 3rd DC in as many years. He is still young and only a Redshirt Sophomore this season so I'm still optimistic that he could develop into a good player here.

Remember when everyone thought he was getting playing time because of FaVoRtIsM, bRo? He's on his third set of DC/LB coaches and they'll be sending him out there again this year. I'm hoping it's more of a reserve role but you'll be seeing him out on the field every Saturday.

Flagg will be the least of our worries. There is a lot of youth on this team or at least unproven players and it'll show. He showed out better last year under a better DC and will do the same if the new guy is all he's cracked up to be. I'm by no means saying All-American levels or even one of our greats, but he won't be the weak spot at LB'er.

Not favoritism but poor recruiting.

I don't care what anyone says about him, this kid is mature beyond his years. He's a pro. You need guys like this in your program that set an example for the younger guys.

Love Flagg's character. But Vilma was also a high character guy. You can have both.
