Not sure why people are calling her a bad parent. She did a bad thing, but I'm sure all parents have done bad things, doesn't make them bad parents.
 
Everyone's talking about a Crimson bag, but that doesn't explain Mama's Vol hat.

The mom sucked, but the announcer could have let the kid have his moment and ignored it instead of dwelling on it.

Eh, I actually thing he was the lone redeeming thing about that clip. He realized everyone was surprised but he stepped up to fill the void and clapped. Props to him and shame on the mom for being selfish in that spot.

I totally saw what Macho saw - it's not in this shortened clipped but i saw it live. The poor woman was being half choked and had him clapping his hands inches from her face, she was cringing and closing her eyes, even lifted her hands to try to stop it at one point.

Mom did walk back and hug him. He was in tears. She probably whispered "you know you ain't catching passes at UF"
 
Feel for the kid regardless if he's going to Florida...your parents should have your back 100% of the time; what Mamma Copeland did was shameful.
 
seems like he told mom he was going somewhere else. The minute she took out that hat she ran for the woods. Hes a pensacola kid she likely wanted him out of state...

Luckily his older bro clapped and the other guy came and sat down. Mom dukes wasnt for the sh*Ts and giggles..whcih is why i dont understand why kids make it some joke/sh*tshow to surprise people. They dont even tell their own parents or give them wrong sh*t. She had on every school except UF...obviusly she didnt want him in gainesville

no as much as Miami has a bad reputation, Gainesville is not the place you want your kids to be at if he can't stay out of trouble
 
reminds me of the momma of that kid that picked Bama instead of LSU and his momma got ****ed...but at least she didn't walk off..

I don't care what happened and I'm not one to always label these 18 yr olds as "kids" but you're a bad parent if you drive your son to what looked like tears on national tv because you can't check your own emotions for 45 seconds.
