Cooper Hammond

His system and processes are proven.

Except, of course, for the fact that we have not been a Final Four team in 15 years. Do me a favor and find the last time Duke basketball had a 15 year stretch when they didn't make the Final Four.

"Proven". LMAO. You and your flux capacitor need to get back here to the future.

"Final Four"...... That explains everything.

Jagr - we are talking about BASEBALL and NOT BASKETBALL.

Jagr - Your "special ed" teacher is calling. Time to play with the foam blocks that have soft edges. Remember to take your meds. Remember that everything is going to be "ok". That priest was a bad man, but he cannot play with you anymore.

Jagr - Again.... This post is about a pitcher and pitchers play BASEBALL. You have been posting on the wrong Board about the wrong subject. Time to go away little man....

But you already said that it's a fact that our pitching staff isn't great. Don't give me some garbage about one start.

Our starting pitching isn't great. Our top two starters have each had one awful start.

Those are not mutually exclusive claims.

You're incoherent.

"To say that our starting pitching isn't great (or anything to write home about) is just true."

Now you're so shook that you're rattling off some garbage about one start. This is too easy.

Mediavilla had one bad start.

What are you missing here? Except of course having actually followed that one game.

You're even more incoherent than normal.

The equivalent goal in college baseball is to reach the College World Series. When that doesn't suit your argument you change it to Final 4 which is a standard that nobody in baseball uses.

It's Omaha.

That's the standard.

Yes.

The way he builds his teams has proven over time to be superior to most coaches in the game.

His handling of pitchers. Never overthrowing them. His use of the bullpen. Placing more emphasis on the back end. His use of the bunt and his reliance power as well.

He's won a national championship with power (1999) and with speed (2001).

He's won with power pitchers and with light throwers.

When the recruiting has been up to par (which has been most of the time) his methods have proven to be successful across years and decades.
