Hester didn't do what Hester should have done at Miami. That staff was too inept to fully utilize him. Besides returns, he should have been used A LOT more on offense. Gotta get the ball in an athlete's hand like him more often.

Coker sucks no doubt, but people put way too much blame on him for Hester. It wasn't Coker who wanted to be "the next Deion Sanders." That was straight out of Devin's mouth. Hester himself deserves as much blame as anybody for not being the player he should have been. Not anyone else's fault the dude couldn't pick up a playbook to save his life.

I know exactly what Hester wanted, but it was the coaches job to show Hester what was best for the team and him.
 
Well, we didn't get guys like Denard Robinson because the coaches wanted to show him what's best for him. We wouldn't have landed Allen Bailey if we told him the truth that he had no shot at LB from the beginning.

You do like all other schools do, give them a shot at the spot they want and then move them to their best spot after that doesn't work out.

It happens all the time. You think LSU had any plan to keep Russell Shepard at QB? How about Jeff Gofrey playing QB at UCF?

And if Jim Kelly had listened to coaches, he would have probably been another overrated Pedo State LB instead of sticking to his guns and going on to become a Hall of Fame QB.
 
and look at Robinson now, trying to reach the NFL as wr. Should listen to Shannon and been a corner. instead wasted 4yrs playing QB

Well, that was Penn State's fault not giving him a shot at the position he wanted. You let the player try the position he wants first, and if that doesn't work out then you move him.

Point being that coaches don't always know what's best. Not anyone else's fault that Hester has the IQ of a pine cone.
 
The more I think about it, this will probably pay off for us in the end. How often do you see Clemson commits waiver.....sammy watkins, Kearse....they all stay committed. Unless you got Ole Miss money its going to be tough.

This is Wawa, Changed to WilCanes since my son no longer wanted me to call him wawa anymore he's 8 now. I love the commitment by Yearby he comes from a more solid home foundation. You will get no trouble out of this kid. I watched both he and Cook since their Freshmen year and I use to say Yearby was the better back but Cook changed my mind last year. Cook is much improved from just being a speed back. He sees the hole better now make great reads and cuts just like Yearby now. You can tell he's been studying Yearby in practice. I think Cook is the better Rb and better Athelete. He's bigger, faster and gives you more explosive plays. The only problem I have with Cook is he probably needs to leave Miami.
Ya'll just don't understand how much pressure this kid is under from his family. His family been pimping him since pee wee football. Making him switch park every year to the highest bidder or whichever Caoch was willing to pay a utility bill. Just recently Rapper Flo-Rida tried to buy $ his family off trying to get him to transfer to Carol City, Flo-Rida Alma Mata. Cook was in the locker room crying cause he didnt want to transfer but his family was pressuring him to transfer just to take the $ but at the end they cooled of once word got around in the community. I would love for him to go to the U and I think we have a good chance but I wouldn't be mad if he moved far away from his family.

Hasn't been a doubt in my mind from the gate. The fact that they get down into South Florida for one of the best backs in the country before FSU and Miami did raised red flags immediately. Committed without an unofficial? $cream$ ca$h
