- After he commits next month he says he's done. “I’m going to stay committed because I don’t want to keep flipping,”. He thinks UF may be home but you never know
- FSU is really pushing hard for him and their success is helping also. “I’m loving Florida State right now,” Cook told Bartow. “I just have a good relationship with the whole coaching staff right now. Devonta Freeman is like a big brother to me. He can mentor me and keep me on the right path. He also said that the fact they are winning and having success on offense is a big plus
- Says FSU is somewhat his leader and that UF and UM trail in that order
- It's a strange situation since he's "committed" to UF. “I’d sum it up like, I’m still trying to find where I can fit in at,” Cook said. “Florida, I always wanted to be a Gator and right now I’m still a Gator.” Aka bull**** he's no longer a Gator
- T-Rob is trying to keep him around. He says that the players coming in will make big plays, Cook will start as a freshman and the program will turn around
- The loss to GSU hurt UFs chances with Cook. “They just got to get more players in the program. We lost to Georgia Southern and it was a tough loss for the program. Everybody is down on the program and we just got to bounce back, we got to get more playmakers like we did before.”
- Since his team is playing Saturday he can't go to the UF/FSU game on Saturday but he will visit UM the week after. He won't visit UF anymore as his plans go right now
- The last trip to UM can be huge for the program in stealing him. “[Hurlie Brown] just tells me why not win championships at home and why not come play with [Miami Central teammates who are committed to the Hurricanes] Joe [Yearby] and Trevor [Darling].
- He wants to see Coral Gables for himself and spend 48 hours with the coaches and see what the campus has to offer if it's right for him. As he says "see if I get that feeling inside".
- He thinks after the State Championship game he'll end it. “I was thinking I was going to do it at the state championship game,” Cook said, which would be December 14.
