Congratulations to Darrin Smith

Darrin Smith is one of my all-time favorite Canes. 1990 was the first year I really started watching games consistently as a kid, and I Smith was probably my favorite player on the team. Before Barrow, I remember Maurice Crum also being pretty good with Smith and Armstead.

if Miami doesn't get blown out of the 93 Sugar Bowl, Darrin would've been a part of 4 title teams in a row from college to the NFL..

EDIT- Actually, Im incorrect, in 94 the Niners won it. But still, Darrin collected three rings in a 5 year span from UM to Dallas (and was a starter on all of those teams)

Hand to heart, that’s one of the nicest things I think you can say about someone. I’d love it if one day someone said that about me ….”He was a swell guy”.
